The new model uses UV LEDs instead of UV lamps, greatly extending the UV life. The resource of a UV lamp is usually 8000-12000 hours, and UV LEDs average 50,000 hours (5-6 years). Also, UV LEDs are practically not subject to burnout, unlike UV lamps. The wavelength spectrum of UV LEDs is 365 nm, which is similar to the UV wavelength spectrum of sunlight.

“Researchers at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), in collaboration with scientists from the Universities of Maryland (Maryland) and Howard (Howard), have developed a technology for obtaining thin, high-performance LEDs from nanowires. As described in the recent paper "365 nm operation of n-nanowire/p-gallium nitride homojunction light emitting diodes", the resulting LEDs emit ultraviolet light, the exact wavelength required for light-based nanotechnology, including information storage. ."

The modern climate complex has been designed to maintain the purity of indoor air, as well as its humidity, using a number of technologies:

Hydrofiltration technology

This technology assumes that the air entering the device from the room passes through an air-water recovery system. In this recovery zone, the air is purified, antibacterial treated, humidified, and harmful impurities are removed from it. Thus, clean and humid air gets back into the room, from which not only the smallest mechanical particles, but also allergens are removed.
The path of air entering the device is as follows. First, it passes through a multi-layered water curtain,  passes through a water filter and an antibacterial impregnated filter, and then enters the photocatalytic filter. After that, it is sterilized by UV radiation, ionized and sent back to the room.
High quality air treatment is achieved by using the latest hydrofiltration technology, that is, air purification with water, as well as separation technologies. The air is also disinfected, ionized and photocatalyzed.

The operation of the air purifier - humidifier:

1. Air is supplied to the cut-off filter, where smaller contaminants and water suspension are separated.
2. Due to the action of the blower, the water is pumped upwards, where it undergoes an air-dispersion treatment. The operation of the circulating supercharger forms a 16-tiered water curtain. Air passes through this curtain, during which it is washed and humidified, and also filtered, and foreign impurities and polluting particles are removed from it. These contaminants settle with water and remain in the pan. Thus, the air is not just cleaned, but “washed”, and not only pollution, but also extraneous odors are removed from it.
3. Air is supplied to the antibacterial filter, where disinfection takes place.
4. When the UV LEDs are on, ultraviolet light is emitted, which activates the photocatalytic filter. This allows you to destroy the smallest spores of plants, viruses and certain odors. At the same time, thanks to UV radiation, the air is sterilized.
6. The air is ionized, that is, it is enriched with negative ions. This makes it fresh and also activates oxygen molecules. As a result, the person in the room feels calm and increased concentration.
