ATTENTION!  Before you start using the medical device, you must carefully read the instruction manual attached to the medical device, as well as consult your attending physician about possible contraindications and the procedure for the procedure. If the device is used by children from 3-14 years old, the procedure time should be halved. At elevated temperatures, UFO is not carried out. All procedures of the local UFO are carried out with the help of tubes, the procedures of the local UFO are carried out without the tubes and with the shutter removed.
SOME PARTICULAR TECHNIQUES OF LOCAL (LOCAL) UV IRRADIATION (FURTHER IN THE TEXT - UV) OF SKIN COVERINGS AND INTRA-CAVITY UVM OF MUCOSA BY THE OUF-06 DEVICE.
Flu
During a flu epidemic, for a prophylactic purpose, irradiation is carried out through the tubes of the nasal mucosa and the posterior pharyngeal wall. Each nasal passage is irradiated for 1 minute by means of a tube with a diameter of 5 mm, the tube is inserted to a depth of 1 cm.The posterior wall of the pharynx is irradiated alternately from the left and right sides, each side for 1 minute by means of a tube with an outlet at an angle of 60⁰, the tube is inserted to a depth 5 cm. Course 5-6 procedures.
During the height of the disease, irradiation is not carried out. During the period of the reverse development of the disease (or during the recovery period), in order to prevent the development of complications (attachment of a secondary infection), ultraviolet irradiation of the nasal and pharyngeal mucosa is performed according to a similar method, carried out for prophylactic purposes.
Acute respiratory diseases
In the early days of the disease, ultraviolet irradiation of the nasal and pharyngeal mucosa is performed according to the influenza treatment regimen, as well as the chest of the posterior (interscapular) surface and the anterior (sternum, trachea) through a perforated localizer. To manufacture a perforated localizer, it is necessary to take a medical oilcloth 40x40 cm in size and perforate it with 1.0-1.5 cm holes. The radiation dose from a distance of 50 cm is from 3-4 to 5-6 biodoses. The next day, the localizer is shifted and new areas of the skin are irradiated with the same dose. In total, 5-6 procedures are prescribed for the course of treatment.
Acute rhinitis
At the stage of attenuation of exudative phenomena in the nasal mucosa (the end of rhinorrhea), in order to prevent the addition of a secondary infection and the development of complications in the form of sinusitis, otitis media, etc., ultraviolet irradiation of the nasal mucosa and pharynx is prescribed.
Acute inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (frontal sinusitis, sinusitis)
After performing diagnostic and therapeutic punctures and washing the sinuses, ultraviolet irradiation of the mucous membrane of the nasal passages is prescribed according to the method of acute rhinitis. Additionally, it is recommended to irradiate the skin of the face from a distance of 50 cm at the site of injury, having previously protected the eyes with the help of special glasses, the dose of irradiation is from 0.5 to 3 biodoses. The course is 5-6 procedures.
Acute otitis externa
The disease develops as a complication of acute respiratory disease, acute rhinitis. Prescribe ultraviolet irradiation of the mucous membrane of the posterior pharyngeal wall, nasal passages. At the same time, irradiation is carried out through a tube of 5mm or 15mm of the external auditory canal, the tube is inserted to a depth of 1 cm. The radiation dose is from 2 to 3-4 biodoses. The course of irradiation is 2-5 procedures.
Acute pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis
Ultraviolet irradiation of the anterior surface of the chest is carried out in the region of the anterior surface of the neck and the upper half of the sternum, the posterior surface of the neck. Radiation dose from a distance of 50 cm from 3-4 to 5-6 biodoses. At the same time, the posterior pharyngeal wall is irradiated alternately on the left and right sides, each side for 1 minute by means of a tube with an outlet at an angle of 60⁰, the tube is inserted to a depth of 5 cm. The course is 5-6 procedures.
Acute bronchitis
UFO is prescribed from the first day of the disease. The anterior surface of the chest in the region of the anterior surface of the neck and upper half of the sternum and the interscapular region are irradiated through a perforated localizer, which is daily shifted to non-irradiated areas of the skin. Duration of irradiation from a distance of 50 cm from 3 to 5 biodoses. The course of irradiation is 5-6 procedures.

UFO bronchial asthma is carried out according to two methods. The first agrees with the method of treatment for acute bronchitis. According to the second technique, the chest is divided into 8 sections: the first, second, third, fourth - the posterior surface of the chest is irradiated; fifth, sixth - the lateral surfaces of the chest; seventh, eighth - the anterior surface of the chest on the right. 1 site is irradiated daily. Dose from a distance of 50 cm from 3 to 5 biodoses during one procedure. Each field is irradiated 2-3 times.
Chronic tonsillitis
UFO of the palatine tonsils is carried out by means of a tube with an outlet at an angle of 60⁰. The effectiveness of the treatment depends on the correct technique for performing the UV therapy procedure. The procedure is carried out with the mouth wide open and the tongue pressed to the bottom of the oral cavity, while the palatine tonsils should be clearly visible. The tube of the irradiator is inserted with a cut towards the tonsils into the oral cavity at a distance of 2-3 cm from the surface of the teeth. A beam of UV radiation is strictly directed to the amygdala to be irradiated. The patient can independently carry out irradiation, controlling the correctness of the procedure using a mirror. After irradiation of one amygdala, the other is irradiated by the same method. Begin irradiation of each amygdala with 1-1.5 biodoses, increasing the radiation dose to 3 biodoses. The course of treatment is 5-6 procedures.
The effectiveness of treatment increases significantly if the treatment complex includes washing of lacunae from necrotic masses. Washing is performed before the UFO of the tonsils. The same technique is used to wash the amygdala niche after tonsillectomy.
Chronic periodontitis, acute periodontitis,
ultraviolet irradiation of the mucous membrane of the gums is carried out through a tube with a diameter of 15 mm. In the area of irradiation of the gingival mucosa, the lip and cheek are pulled aside with a spatula (with a spoon at home) so that the UV radiation beam falls on the gum mucosa. By slowly moving the tube, we irradiate all the mucous membranes of the gums of the upper and lower jaw. The duration of irradiation during one procedure is 5 minutes. The course of irradiation is 6-8 procedures.
Clean wounds
All open wounds (cut, lacerated, bruised, etc.) are infected. Before primary surgical treatment, the wound and the surrounding skin integuments are irradiated with a dose of 1-3 biodoses of the device at a distance of 50 cm, the procedures are carried out on the following days of dressing, when removing the sutures, the UFO is repeated at the same dose.
Purulent wounds
After cleansing a purulent wound from necrotic tissues and purulent plaque, ultraviolet irradiation is prescribed to stimulate the healing (epithelialization) of the wound. On the days of dressing, after the treatment of the wound (wound toilet), the very surface of the purulent wound and the edges are irradiated with UV radiation. Irradiation is carried out at a distance of 50 cm from the wound surface, the duration of irradiation is 4-8 biodoses. The course of treatment is 10-12 procedures
Furuncle, carbuncle, abscess
Irradiation of the affected area is carried out from a distance of 50 cm with the capture of 3-4 cm of intact skin along the perimeter. At the initial stage, the dosage is up to 3-5 biodoses on the trunk and limbs, on the face - 1-2 biodoses. The course of treatment is 4-5 procedures.
Erysipelas The
site of the lesion is irradiated with the obligatory capture of healthy skin by 4-8 cm (depending on the localization of the lesion). The distance of the emitter from the skin is 50 cm. The dose is from 3 to 6 biodoses. In case of erysipelas on the extremities or trunk, the radiation dose is 6 to 10 biodoses. The course is 2-6 exposures.
Soft tissue contusions.
Irradiation begins with 2-3 biodoses on the 2nd day after contusion from a distance of 50 cm, increasing the dosage for each subsequent procedure. The course of treatment is 3-4 procedures.
Bone fractures
After the imposition of the Ilizarov compression-distraction apparatus, extraosseous or intraosseous osteosynthesis connecting the bone fragments, ultraviolet irradiation is prescribed to the fracture area. Irradiation is carried out when there is access to the skin, i.e. in the absence of a plaster cast. The procedures begin with 2-3 biodoses on the 2nd day after the fracture from a distance of 50 cm, increasing the dosage for each subsequent procedure. The course of treatment is 3-4 procedures.
